Educational Programs

We offer guided tours of the Burrows House and Log Cabin museums in Newport, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the history of the central Oregon coast through exhibits rich in objects, photographs, and other
documents.

We can bring educational programs to your classroom, auditorium, or library. The two main programs we offer are:

"My Town in Lincoln County,"a traveling
exhibit geared to each of the four areas of the county, and

"Unplugged Games," a hands-on program with old-fashioned games.

Walking tours of the historic Bayfront and Nye Beach districts of Newport can be arranged for groups as can special emphasis tours of the museums.

Speakers and other programs are offered during the year. Information on scheduled events can be found on the "What's New" page of this website.

Tours and special programs are free to public school students. For other groups and special programs, the fee is $2 per person.
