County Historical Society Research Library The
research library and archives are located in the Burrows House Museum. It is open
Tuesday through Thursday during museum hours or by appointment. The library houses
thousands of photographs, documents, maps, and records pertaining to local and
regional topics. Some fees apply. The library provides
the following services: - Research assistance on the
history of the central Oregon coast
- Photographic reproduction
- Photocopying
of records, maps and photographs subject to the condition of the materials
- Referral
service to other repositories
The Log Cabin will reopen after
renovations as a research library and archive
storage facility open to the public. Demand for
research assistance and a growing collection of
photographs and research materials have necessitated
the move to a larger space.
